Unfortunately, the title of this post could not be further from the truth. And I’ll use a familiar scenario to prove this point.

You all probably know, or have heard, of someone who looked fine and felt fine just weeks or months before suffering from a physical catastrophe, like a heart attack. A sudden heart attack! But was it really sudden?

Research has shown us that children as young as 10 years old can begin to experience arterial plaquing. Does that 10-year-old have symptoms? High blood pressure? Breathing problems? Most likely, there’s no sign of this plaquing at all.

The problem with your cardiovascular system, is that for many (as in 50%), the first heart attack is the first noticeable symptom of cardio trouble. Another problem is that half of those people won’t ever get the chance at a second symptom.

The beginning of the disease process began long before the heart attack. A process that eventually, decades and decades later, leaves us to assume that the heart attack was sudden. But it wasn’t sudden at all. Because looking good and feeling good, while great for sure, are not predictors of you having a healthy cardiovascular system.

The same is true for all of the systems in your body. The question is, what can we do about it?

The World Health Organization defines health as a complete state of physical, mental, and social well being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmary.

But what really is a disease?

Isn’t a disease just a set of symptoms that’s been grouped together and given a name? Which means we can easily substitute the word symptom for the word disease, meaning that complete health and wellbeing isn’t merely the absence of symptoms.

Of course, we all want to look good. Of course, we all want to feel good. But how do we really know if we’re healthy?

Let’s use your cardiovascular system again, as all of you have probably had your blood pressure tested. And why do we do that? Because that test can give us a better picture of the health of your cardiovascular system.

It’s important to know the health of your cardio system, so we can prevent heart attacks and reverse the disease process.

When it comes to the health of your entire body, and any system – respiratory, digestive, reproductive – the question is, what controls these symptoms?

Let’s use an analogy of a successful business.

The business is profitable, operates efficiently, provides a useful service or product, and everyone is happy from employees to shareholders. It’s a healthy business. And someone has to be in charge of that healthy business. Let’s call him or her the boss.

When it comes to your body, who’s the boss? Who’s in charge? Well, that has to be your brain, and most would probably come to that conclusion. But it also includes your central nervous system.

Your brain controls every system in your body, and it does this by sending messages through your nervous system. Every cell, tissue, organ, muscle, and joint in your body must receive communication from your brain in order to function properly.

If communication is disrupted or limited, this is the beginning of the disease process. You may feel the effects of this miscommunication immediately. Or you may not feel any symptoms for years or even decades.

The reason you don’t always experience pain when nervous system transmission isn’t functioning properly, is because only 10% of your nerves are made up of pain fibers. Think about that for a moment.

Ninety percent of your nerves are made up of communication fibers. Similar to having your blood pressure checked, as a preventative measure, you also should have your nervous system checked. It’s vital to make certain that your brain is able to communicate with your body, and your body can communicate back to your brain.

So, who can you turn to measure how well your nervous system is functioning? A chiropractor who understands the role of the nervous system in total health and wellbeing, or what we like to call, a TRUCHIRO.

Don’t go by how you look, or how you feel. As the WHO states, health is not merely the absence of disease or symptoms. True health is so much more than that. True health is about prevention. True health is about keeping the nervous system healthy.

Find a TRUCHIRO today! Have your nervous system checked. You simply cannot be healthy unless that system is healthy.

THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SYSTEM IN THE BODY BECAUSE IT CONTROLS AND REGULATES EVERY SYSTEM IN YOUR BODY. IT DOES THIS BY ALLOWING YOUR BRAIN TO SEND SPECIFIC MESSAGES TO EVERY CELL, TISSUE, ORGAN, MUSCLE AND JOINT IN YOUR ENTIRE BODY. WHEN THIS COMMUNICATION BECOMES INTERFERED YOUR BODY WILL NOT FUNCTION AS IT SHOULD AND LEFT UNTREATED WILL LEAD TO SYMPTOMS AND DISEASE. TRUCHIROS LOCATE AND CORRECT THESE INTERFERENCES ALLOWING YOUR BRAIN TO COMMUNICATE PROPERLY SO YOUR BODY CAN HEAL ITSELF WITHOUT THE USE OF DRUGS OR SURGERY. About Truchiro

TRUCHIRO is the brain child of Dr. Clint Steele. In 1993 Dr. Steele graduated from chiropractic college and set out to change the world’s health. Unfortunately, what he found in the real world was not what he was taught in school.
