Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a serious long-term illness that often makes people unable to do their usual activities and severely impacts quality of life.

The main symptom is โ€œfatigue for over 6 months that worsens with activity and doesnโ€™t improve with restโ€.

A simple activity of just walking around the block can be exhausting for CFS sufferers. In addition to fatigue, other symptoms can include pain in the joints or muscles, anxiety, depression, muscle weakness, confusion, lack of concentration, sensitivity to pain, malaise, and excess sleepiness or sleep disturbances.

About 2.5 million Americans suffer from Chronic fatigue. 90% of cases are in the 25 to 50 year age range.

Although many theories exist as to the cause of CFS, ultimately it comes down to the brain and nervous system not being able to overcome and adapt to stress. This includes physical, chemical and emotional stress.

The inability to deal with daily stress over time exhausts the nervous system leading to many health issues which can include CFS.

Many people who suffer from this condition have noticed significant improvement and even alleviation of symptoms with regular chiropractic care.

They have reported more energy, less pain and inflammation in joints, greater mobility and flexibility, better sleep and overall sense of well-being after just a few adjustments.

Chiropractic research has demonstrated that regular chiropractic adjustments help the brain and nervous system be better able to adapt to stress allowing them to communicate properly with the body. This keeps the nervous system functioning optimally which will help keep you healthy and well.
